    1. Heel leuk om van ingrediënten uit de supermarkt klei te maken. Het is een recept van iemand op Instagram.

      White Dough:
      1/2 cup Cornflour
      1 cup Baking Soda
      3/4 cup Water

      1. Pour all ingredients into a medium saucepan on medium-low heat, stirring consistently.
      2. Stir until the mixture starts to thicken and eventually looks like mashed potatoes.

      3. Remove dough from saucepan and put it in a bowl and cover with a damp towel. Let it cool for approximately 15 minutes, until dough is at a comfortable temperature to touch.

      4. Knead the dough thoroughly to get out any air bubbles. Roll out dough approximately 6mm thick on top a sheet of baking paper.

      5. Cut out your shapes.

      6. Once you are finished cutting out your shapes, you can add any type of decorations by making indentations into the dough, or just leave it plain. Place cut out shapes onto a tray lined with baking paper.

      7. To make a hole to hang the ornament I used a stainless steel straw.

      8. Bake at 50 degrees C fanbake for 40-45 minutes. Then flip over and bake for an additional 40-45 minutes, or until all decorations are hard.

      9. Let cool and then spray with a clear protective coating if you want to preserve them. I used Krylon matte finish available from Spotlight. Or you can paint the ornaments whatever color you’d like.
