ECHO 01 — ALU EDITION (2026) MADART FOUNDATION AMSTERDAM

After its first presentation during GLUE Utrecht, ECHO 01 — ALU EDITION continues in Amsterdam in collaboration with MADART FOUNDATION.

For this presentation, the works are brought together in a new context, allowing the aluminium objects and interventions to enter into dialogue with a different architectural setting. The exhibition shows how industrial residues can shift from production waste to objects of value, carrying traces of their original function while opening up new meanings.

ECHO — From Residue to Form is a recurring material research project in which one residual material stream forms the starting point for new work. The first edition focuses on aluminium from the production of street lighting poles and profiles. Fourteen designers translated this material into objects, installations and spatial interventions.
